Why Collectors Are Choosing Large-Scale, Custom Artworks
A Love Letter to Space, Sky, and the Sublime
Have you ever encountered a painting that changed the temperature of the room?
Not through brightness or color alone—but through its stillness, stature, and silent command?
This is the gravity of scale.
Across the art world, today’s most discerning collectors are gravitating toward large-scale, custom artworks—pieces that do more than beautify a space. They redefine it. These are not accessories. They are anchoring forces—gestures of permanence, vision, and presence.
I’m currently creating a new series titled SkyDance—each canvas 4x6 feet or larger, a tribute to the expansive skies and cinematic color palettes that stretch across the American West. Born between two worlds—the raw silence of Santa Fe and the kinetic rhythm of New York—these works breathe contrast, tension, and awe.
They are not designed to fill a wall.
They are designed to shift a space. To ask something of you. To linger.
As I seek gallery representation for this body of work in Scottsdale, Dallas, Houston, Denver, New York City, San Francisco, and Santa Fe, I also invite you—my collectors, curators, and creative co-conspirators—to help place these works in their next homes.
Should one of them be yours?
Private viewings of SkyDance are now available by invitation at my Santa Fe studio.
Because some paintings don’t just live on canvas—they live with you.
